Defender® cable protectors have been the event and industry standard since 1995. Available in various series with different load capacities, they protect electricity and signal cables, or fire hoses, from pedestrians and vehicles. The globally patented cable protectors have a securely locking lid with self-cleaning hinge, and are perfect for concerts, construction sites, or in the film and television industry.
Defender® products, which are designed and manufactured in Germany, are made from especially robust, recyclable TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). Strict inspections of the materials and production processes ensure that the cable protectors meet the high-level specifications and rigorous quality standards. The Defender® cable protection systems are DEKRA approved and certified as per DIN 31000 and EN 61537. Defender also offers customised products and system solutions developed to suit individual customer requirements.
All DEFENDER cable crossovers are made of polyuerthane. They have a B2 fire-resistance rating (also available with a B1 rating – difficult to ignite, in compliance with DIN4102), and are resistant to oil, acids and petrol. Operating temperatures range from -30°C to +60°C. The Shore A hardness is 88 ± 4.
